Mas tamb\u00e9m usa outras como mudr\u00e1s (gestos energ\u00e9ticos e reflexol\u00f3gicos feitos com as m\u00e3os), manaskriya (visualiza\u00e7\u00e3o), \u00e1sana, matra (ritmo), bandhas (compress\u00e3o de chakras e gl\u00e1ndulas), etc.<\/p>\n<p>Os efeitos dos pr\u00e1n\u00e1y\u00e1mas podem se facilmente perceber no pr\u00e1n\u00e1mayakosha (corpo energ\u00e9tico), manomayakosha (corpo mental), annamayakosha (corpo f\u00edsico).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\">As diferentes t\u00e9cnicas de&nbsp;pr\u00e1n\u00e1y\u00e1ma podem usar-se tanto para energizar nos momentos de sono ou fraqueza como para acalmar e trazer harmonia em momentos de stress ou ansiedade.<\/p>\n<p>As 4 fases da respira\u00e7\u00e3o s\u00e3o:<br>\nP\u00faraka \u2013 inspira\u00e7\u00e3o<br>\nK\u00fambhaka ou antar k\u00fambhaka \u2013 reten\u00e7\u00e3o com ar nos pulm\u00f5es<br>\nRechaka \u2013 exala\u00e7\u00e3o<br>\nSh\u00fanyaka ou bahya k\u00fambhaka \u2013 reten\u00e7\u00e3o sem ar nos pulm\u00f5es<br>\n\nPara energizar \u00e9 recomendado ampliar o tempo de inspira\u00e7\u00e3o e reten\u00e7\u00e3o com ar. Para acalmar aprofundar a exala\u00e7\u00e3o. Para buscar equilibrio no corpo ou mente, a respira\u00e7\u00e3o deve ser uniforme, a inspira\u00e7\u00e3o e exala\u00e7\u00e3o devem levar o mesmo tempo de execu\u00e7\u00e3o.<br>\nEsses \u00abtempos\u00bb s\u00e3o chamados de matra (ritmo) <br>\nO matra 1-4-2-0 indica que a reten\u00e7\u00e3o com pulm\u00f5es cheios deve ter uma dura\u00e7\u00e3o de 4 vezes a inspira\u00e7\u00e3o, a exala\u00e7\u00e3o deve ter o dobro de dura\u00e7\u00e3o que a inspira\u00e7\u00e3o, e n\u00e3o precisa reten\u00e7\u00e3o vazia.<br>\nMatra 1-1 indica que a inspira\u00e7\u00e3o e exala\u00e7\u00e3o tem a mesma dura\u00e7\u00e3o e n\u00e3o ha reten\u00e7\u00f5es.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\">Durante o pranayama n\u00e3o s\u00f3 ha controle do alento, tamb\u00e9m ha inten\u00e7\u00e3o e direcionamento do prana e energia mental. O prana pode ser direcionado para um chakra (centros de energia do corpo energ\u00e9tico) ou uma regi\u00e3o do corpo determinada.
